I am a mother and wife, teacher and musician, and avid runner, born and raised and currently residing in South Carolina.  I occasionally “ran” out of college, but didn’t truly find my passion for the sport until the summer of 2006, after my youngest of two daughters turned four and I began to train for my first triathlon.  It was in that season that I discovered my love for running and the rest is history.  I love to train, on the road, track, and trails, and above all, I LOVE to race – for the atmosphere and social aspect (and well, competition too).  I’ve run numerous races, 1 mile to marathon, but my favorite distance is the half marathon.  Outside of running, I also use the ElliptiGo for a key resource in my training.

Os1st has been a real game changer in my training and particularly in recovery from training and injuries. Outside of the compression calf sleeves (my favorites), I also have made use of the bunion socks, ankle compression sleeves, as well as the IT and knee sleeves to help with patella bursitis and acute contusions.  I can thank Os1st for the aiding in recovery and stability so that I can continue training with minimal discomfort.

In every season, you have the ability to compete.  Competition on any given day can look different, but what matters is that you show up, put in the work, and thank your body for enduring all that you put it through.  It’s a mutual respect for the act of the game and the privilege of the game.  I’m grateful to possess the desire, determination, and motivation to move and to be the best version of myself every day.
