ABOUT ME:
My love of running began in high school cross country, but my career truly took off after moving to San Francisco and joining the Impala Racing Team in 2018. After just a few months of running with these women, I broke my then crazy lifetime goal of a sub 3 hour marathon. The following year, I decided to go after the Olympic Trials Qualifying time in the marathon. Thanks to the support of my teammates, I finished with a 2:44 at the 2019 California International Marathon, then went on to run in the US Olympic Team Trials in Atlanta.
After focusing on the marathon for a few years, I was eager to mix things up and run on trails - just listening to my body and running by feel instead of chasing splits. This led me into the ultramarathon distances. After placing 6th at the JFK 50 Mile in 2021, I was hooked on the ultra distances, and went on to place 2nd at the USATF 100K Championships in April 2022. This performance earned me a spot on the US 100K Road Team, and I am looking forward to representing the US at the 100K World Championships in Berlin in August 2022.
