Charlotte Running Company and OS1st collaborate on donation program to support local organizations
Five percent of sales between the companies will benefit local running-related charities
CHARLOTTE, NC (November 30, 2022) – Local running community staple and 2021 Best Running Store, Charlotte Running Company, announced today a charitable partnership with Hickory-based performance sock and compression bracing brand, OS1st®. The partnership is centered on giving back and as such, five percent of sales between the companies will be donated to local charities quarterly, benefitting the Charlotte area running community.
“Community is so important to us, and this partnership with OS1st® adds to the list of things we do to support local causes that are near and dear to our hearts,” founder of Charlotte Running Company, Scott Dvorak said.
With the goal of supporting hundreds of sports and wellness-based charities in the Charlotte area, the benefiting organization will shift on a quarterly basis. The to Let me Run, an organization aimed at “reducing the challenges associated with a lack of emotional expression in pre-teen and teenage boys, which can lead to stress, sickness, disease, addiction, and violence.”
Subsequent donations have been made to RunningWorks, which empowers the homeless, severely impoverished and marginalized with housing, transportation, employment, mental health and recovery services. Updates on charity selections and quarterly donations will be made on social media platforms.
